The House of Representatives overwhelmingly passed a bill on Wednesday (Mar 13) that would force TikTok’s Chinese owner ByteDance to divest the US assets of the app or face a ban. In a video posted on the platform on the same day, TikTok CEO Shou Zi Chew stressed that the company will “not stop fighting” and will exercise its legal rights to prevent a ban in the United States.
